Terms of Service
What you are buying, what it costs, who owns the output, and what happens if it goes wrong. Written to be read rather than survived.

Using this website means you accept these terms. Buying a service means you accept these terms plus any written scope agreed for that engagement. Where the two conflict, the engagement scope wins.
2. What the Marketing Teardown is
The fixed-fee Marketing Teardown is a one-week diagnostic. It delivers:
- A positioning audit of your website and messaging.
- One competitor teardown.
- An ICP reality check — who is actually buying, versus who you target.
- Your top three messaging gaps, ranked by revenue impact.
- A 30-day fix list.
It is delivered as a document. It does not include implementation, design production, ad spend, tooling, ongoing advisory or a call unless one is separately agreed. Larger engagements — deep teardowns and 90-day sprints — are scoped separately in writing from what the teardown finds.
3. Price and taxes
| Region | Price | Tax treatment |
|---|---|---|
| India | ₹1,499 | Plus GST at the applicable rate |
| United States | $299 | Export of service; invoiced without Indian GST under LUT |
| Europe | €279 | Export of service; invoiced without Indian GST under LUT |
| GCC | AED 1,099 | Export of service; invoiced without Indian GST under LUT |
Regional prices are fixed in-market price points, not live currency conversions, and are not exact equivalents of one another. The price applicable to you is the one for the region you contract from. Any local reverse-charge VAT, withholding tax or import levy in your own jurisdiction is your responsibility. Prices may change; the price quoted on your invoice is the price that binds.
4. Payment
The teardown is payable in full in advance. Larger engagements are invoiced as set out in their scope document, on net-15 terms unless agreed otherwise. Work starts on cleared payment.
5. Delivery and your part in it
The teardown is delivered within seven calendar days of cleared payment and receipt of the information needed to do it — at minimum your website, what you sell, and who you sell to. If that information arrives late, the clock starts when it arrives.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide. Analysis built on materially incorrect inputs is not a defect.
6. Intellectual property
On full payment, you own the deliverables produced specifically for you and may use them without restriction inside your business.
TeardownX retains ownership of its underlying methods, frameworks, templates and know-how, including the teardown framework itself. Nothing here transfers those, and nothing prevents TeardownX from working with other companies including in your category.
Anything you supply remains yours. You grant a licence to use it for the duration of the engagement, for the purpose of doing the work.
7. Confidentiality
Non-public information you share is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties, except to service providers who need it to deliver the work and are bound to equivalent terms, or where disclosure is legally required.
TeardownX may refer to the engagement in general terms — that a company of your type in your category was worked with — but will not name you or publish your data or results without written permission.
8. Refunds
Before delivery: cancel any time before the teardown is delivered and receive a full refund.
After delivery: the teardown is a completed piece of analytical work and is not refundable once sent. Disagreeing with the conclusions is not grounds for a refund — an honest diagnosis you did not want to hear is the product working, not failing. If a deliverable is materially incomplete against the scope above, tell us within 7 days and it will be corrected at no charge.
Consumer cancellation rights that apply mandatorily in your jurisdiction are unaffected by this clause. These services are supplied to businesses, so those rights will rarely apply.
9. What is not promised
Marketing outcomes depend on your product, market, pricing, sales execution and timing — most of which sit outside this engagement. TeardownX makes no guarantee of specific revenue, pipeline, ranking or conversion results. Figures published on this site describe past work and are not a forecast for yours.
Services are provided with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no other warranties apply.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, total aggregate liability arising out of or connected with an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Ending an engagement
Either party may end an ongoing engagement with 15 days' written notice. Fees for work already performed remain payable. There are no long-term lock-ins on any TeardownX engagement.
12. Website use
Content on teardownx.com is provided for information. It is not marketing, legal, financial or tax advice and creates no client relationship. Copying substantial parts of it for republication is not permitted. Automated scraping that degrades service availability is not permitted.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu having exclusive jurisdiction. If you contract as a business outside India, this choice applies to the fullest extent your local law allows.
14. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force for your engagement is the one published on the date of your invoice. This version is effective 2026-08-15.
These terms describe how TeardownX engagements actually run. They are not legal advice and have not been reviewed by counsel — have a lawyer check them before relying on them in a dispute.
